Case Matheis, the No. 2 rising junior in IL's September 2010 issue, has verbally committed to defending NCAA champion Duke University, the Stamford Advocate is reporting.
BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins University men’s lacrosse coach Dave Pietramala announced that Jamison Koesterer has joined the Blue Jay coaching staff as an assistant coach. Koesterer, a 2007 Johns Hopkins graduate and a four-year letter winner on the Blue Jay lacrosse team, will coach the JHU faceoff specialists and assist Bobby Benson with the Blue Jay offense. Koesterer replaces Dave Allan, who spent six seasons on the Johns Hopkins coaching staff.
“We are thrilled to welcome back Jamison, a two-time national champion and a true winner in everything he does,” Pietramala noted. “Jamison’s hands-on approach, passion for Johns Hopkins University and his ability to identify with our players make him a perfect fit at this time.”
The 4th Annual Nick Colleluori Classic will be held at Ridley High School in Folsom, Pa. on October 9th & 10th, 2010. The tournament will feature (10) NCAA Division I & (10) NCAA Division II & III Collegiate Men’s Lacrosse Teams.
Warren, Mich. – Brine, an industry leader in creating innovative lacrosse gear, has signed a five-year official equipment supplier agreement with the Loyola University Men's Lacrosse team. The Greyhounds will take the field using the latest Brine sticks, handles and protective equipment as part of the agreement.
The weather is finally beginning to get a touch milder and the leaves will soon be doing their annual color changeover in the north, which means only one thing - fallball is finally here for lacrosse fans.

Inside Lacrosse has learned that highly-touted recruit Lyle Thompson, younger brother of Jeremy and Jerome and Miles Thompson (Syracuse, OCC and Albany, respectively), will spend his final season of high school playing in Section X for the Salmon River Shamrocks, opting not to return to LaFayette Central for his last year. Inside Lacrosse’s top-ranked Young Gun Rising Senior, the standout midfielder has verbally committed to follow brother Miles to Albany in the fall of 2011.
